Position Summary

Works in collaboration and handles multiple projects at once. Is responsible for preparing presentation/design drawings, ordering equipment/materials, and helping coordinate through construction.

EP’s Design Team is known for creating exceptional amenities spaces for our luxury residential portfolio, that emphasizes a “hotel living experience.”

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to work in our collaborative team environment. 

You will be responsible for projects such as model homes, corporate suites, and amenity spaces, including resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, game rooms and more!

responsibilities

  • Manage up to 1 Direct report
  • Help develop project program and design requirements
  • Provide mentorship to associates
  • Create overall CD sets for submittal to Sr. Staff, including but not limited to space plans, floor covering plans, RCP’s, electrical plans, and concept elevations.
  • Develop 3D models to aid in the development of the overall design concepts
  • Research, interpret and apply construction codes to drawing documents for submittal
  • Adhere to and enforce established design standards and procedures
  • Prepare digital and/or physical presentation boards and layouts for design review meetings and Ownership approvals.
  • Construction support/installation oversight to ensure design compliance
  • FF&E product sourcing & specifications.

qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Required Education – CIDA accredited Bachelor/Master degree
  • Required Software – AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite
  • 2-3 years Multifamily / Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Construction knowledge required.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • People Management experience preferred
  • Ability to influence/collaborate with others including internal resources, vendors, and remote teams.
