We're currently seeking a Parts Purchaser for our Excavation Department for its vehicles,trucks and heavy equipment for its operations in South Plainfield, NJ.
With over 700 pieces of equipment, we rank as one of the Northeast's largest excavation entitities of any kind.
Price out and purchase parts required for heavy equipment, trucks and company vehicles.
Work with vendors and all sources to get the best prices available and timing in receiving parts.
Recommendations on availability, different vendors and pricing.
Work hand in hand with shop foreman and shop manager.
Search for parts through all means possible
Pricing out new vehicles and equipment
Search auctions for parts and equipment
Previous Experience Desired
5+ years parts purchasing exp.
Must have fleet experience in vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment/shop parts purchasing experience
Mechanical background preferred but not a must
Computer skills, word, & excel
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
