We're currently seeking Full Time Residential Cost Estimator for our multi-family portfolio of propertiesto work at our corporate Hqts in Piscataway, NJ
Summary of Job Description:
The Residential Cost Estimator will be responsible for working closely with the Move Out Specialist team to determine and facilitate the procurement of materials needed to make apartment dwellings, move-in ready.
The Residential Cost Estimator will receive materials lists during the apartment turnover process and facilitate the ordering of new or replacement materials.
This position is considered administrative and requires a coordinated approach to sourcing materials through various materials providers.

- Strong computer-based skills, including all related software applications (i.e., MS Office)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Work well in a 'team' environment
- Have a workable understanding of building maintenance
- Have a background in building materials (appliances, hardware, plumbing, carpentry, )
- Understand the company purchasing process
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Be able to read, write and speak English
Non-Essential Job Functions:
- All other tasks or duties as assigned by the Director of Risk
- Must maintain professional appearance including adherence to dress code as required

Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience: 1- 3 years of multi-family or related property management experience or equivalent experience in retail or hospitality
- Be able to pass the company pre-employment background screening
Skills:
- Ability to complete repetitive administrative tasks with high attention to detail and limited
- Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks and schedules and adhere to and enforce required deadline
- Ability to speak, read and write English as demonstrated by clear and concise written reports and verbal communications.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to do basic calculations and analysis such as estimating, determining averages and percentages, and
- Ability to perform basic office applications such as word processing, e-mail, and
- Ability to frequently operate general office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, telephone, photocopying machine, facsimile machine, and postage
- Must be proficient in or capable of becoming proficient in the following software; MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook are used daily), OneSite Real Page (or be capable of learning), Adobe Acrobat

- Valid driver's license and automobile
