Position Summary
Works in collaboration and handles multiple projects at once. Is responsible for preparing presentation/design drawings, ordering equipment/materials, and helping coordinate through construction.
Edgewood Properties seeks a passionate and dedicated Residential Staging Designer
EP’s Design Team is known for creating exceptional amenities spaces for our luxury residential portfolio, that emphasizes a “hotel living experience.”
We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to work in our collaborative team environment.
You will be responsible for projects such as model homes, corporate suites, and amenity spaces, including resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, game rooms and more!

responsibilities
- Develop conceptual plans, schematic design plans/elevations, and design development documents.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets and documentation for design review meetings and owner approvals.
- Source, procure, and arrange interior décor including furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, accessories, and art.
- Oversee the logistics of furniture delivery, setup, and or removal within specified timelines.
- Administrative duties to include creating proposals, purchase orders, invoices as well as tracking orders and shipments
- Maintain an inventory of staging materials and ensure they are in excellent condition.
- Perform field measurements and verification
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, receiving houses to ensure timely installation
- Construction support/installation oversight to ensure design compliance
- Meets project deadlines
- Adhere to and enforce established design standards and procedures.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Regular collaboration with Interior Designers and other project stakeholders.
- Assist other groups on special projects.
qualifications
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
- Required Education – Interior Design certificate
- Preferred Education – CIDA accredited Bachelor
- Required Software – AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
- Additional Preferred (but not required) Software – Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp
- People Management experience preferred
- Residential design experience required
- Construction knowledge preferred
- Ability to influence/collaborate with others including internal resources, vendors and remote teams.
- Driver’s license and automobile is required
