We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Manager 

This position will work out of our Piscataway office,but will be required to work at our various Central-South Jersey properties as needed

responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Leading & technical training of maintenance associates across the portfolio for HVAC repairs
  • Maintain staffing levels. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training.
  • Repair and maintain all HVAC equipment with PM schedules.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  • Generate material list as miscellaneous material needed. Freon, recapture tanks, fittings Ect
  • Maintain HVAC supplies for al sites as needed. Coils, TXV Valves, fan motors, Ect.
  • Install various types of residential and commercial hvac equipment
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications for self and HVAC team
  • Attend continuing education classes related to HVAC
  • Coordinates and oversees all HVAC Service Requests for Commercial & Residential
  • Responsible for tracking & obtaining Warranty replacements, Credits, and Inventory management.

qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years residential / commercial service experience
  • 3-5 Years HVAC Management Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  •  EPA Type 2 certification. (NATE cert is a +)
  • Proficient in proper refrigerant pipe installation, brazing and pressure testing for leaks.
  • Basic knowledge of duct sizing and static pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of Heat pump systems.
  • Exceptional safety knowledge (OSHA 30 is a +)
  • Capable of working independently and leading a team.
  • Proficient in trouble shooting HVAC issues. For example, no heat no AC issues.
  • Strong leadership skills
