We're currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist
This position will be based out of our corporate HQ in Piscataway NJ
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company and provides professional, courteous, and efficient support to employees, visitors, clients, and callers. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls and mail, greeting visitors, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the corporate office.

- Greet and welcome visitors, employees, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and take accurate messages as needed.
- Manage the reception area and maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance.
- Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Notify appropriate employees when visitors or deliveries arrive.
- Respond to routine inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department or employee.
- Assist employees and departments with miscellaneous administrative requests and projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling company, employee, and visitor information.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Success in this role will be measured by performance in the following areas:
Visitor and Front Desk Experience
- Reception Coverage. Maintain uninterrupted coverage of the front desk during posted business hours, with advance arrangements made for breaks, appointments and planned absences.
- Visitor Greeting Standard. Greet every arriving visitor promptly and notify the receiving employee without delay, so that no visitor is left waiting unacknowledged.
- Reception Area Presentation. Keep the lobby and reception area consistently clean, orderly and presentation-ready for unannounced client and partner visits.
Communications
- Call Handling. Answer incoming calls within a small number of rings and route them to the correct party on the first transfer, minimizing call-backs and misdirected calls.
- Message Accuracy. Capture and deliver messages accurately and promptly, including caller name, contact details and the nature of the request.
Mail and Administrative Support
- Mail and Delivery Turnaround. Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages the same business day they are received, and prepare outgoing items ahead of daily pickup.
- Administrative Request Completion. Complete assigned administrative tasks and departmental support requests by their agreed deadlines.
Reliability and Professionalism
- Attendance and Punctuality. Maintain a consistent record of on-time attendance, recognizing that the front desk is the company's first point of contact.
- Handle company, employee and visitor information with discretion, with no breaches of confidentiality.
- Internal Service Feedback. Earn consistently positive feedback from employees, visitors, clients and vendors on professionalism and responsiveness.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a busy corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS
- On-site at the Piscataway corporate office; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Coverage of the front desk during posted business hours, with breaks and absences arranged in advance.
- Standing, walking and lifting of mail and packages as required by normal reception duties.
- Occasional flexibility in hours to support company meetings, visitors or events.
